How so? The poster appears to be using 353.62 which are whql
unless your being sarcastic and mean there is no value in whql
 
Given the details available in that Alienware-machines-dying thread, I cannot conclusively prove that NVIDIA is doing anything "wrong". Inarguably the combination of gpu + driver + OS + incredibly specific hardware seems to be resulting in death. But if the driver is so wholly broken, how is it only affecting one bazillionth-of-one-percent of all users?

And it seems that users of this driver who aren't on Windows 10 are seemingly immune. Or users of Win10 plus this driver but without the explicit LCD are also immune.
 
Well at least Alienware/Dell is taking the matter seriously, according to the first post in that thread.

In the Notebook Review thread there's talk that Windows 10 is changing the system BIOS (generally, not for these failure cases). On laptops I guess that's something that can interfere with the display since the level of integration on laptops is fairly high.

It looks like those guys have got a long road left debugging this.
