Gamespot has some new impressions up for Folk Soul, which I believe was recently released in Japan. For those actually interested in the title, the most notable thing relevant to you is that the pre-rendered cutscenes are in English with Japanese subtitles, but, unfortunately, the game is not import friendly due to its text heavy nature. They made no mention of an English language option, either. Other than that, their impressions seem to stem from what those of you interested have probably already played in the demo that's on PSN. I'm looking forward to this one, and I'm rather disappointed importing won't be an option (I'd like to understand the story). A few miscellaneous pieces of information:
- 105 monsters ("Folks")
- Day and night cycles (triggerable) may play some role
- Dungeon mode is unlockable (apparently not available from the start)
