Devil May Cry 4 To Go Multiplatform

We already talked about this in GAF. It's a mistranslation. The Famitsu article said that it would NOT come out on Wii and X360, but rather, spin-offs of the series might one day.

It was debunked... 4 months ago when that mistranslation originally came out.

The actual interview was saying DMC4 is exclusive.

It would be nice to at least include a "?" when posting rampant speculation with a thread title like this.

got my hopes up for about 2 seconds. Still, a future spin-off is interest enough for me. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the spin-off involves Dante as a playable character in super smash brothers. If snake can do it, so can Dante.

I believe Sony and Capcom has a license agreement to make the series exclusive. If Devil May Cry were to go multiplatform it would of had happen a long time ago with the first game.

I don't know but I almost smashed my controller multiple times playing DMC3 SE. Still never finished it.

Me too...it is so hard, but I'll try again.

I feel the same way about Ninja Gaiden. PS2 owners have nothing to envy there. An amazingly well made game, but only fun if you're a sadist.

How many units did DMC3 sell in the west?

If I recall, it sold over a million in NA, I'm not sure on exact amounts though -- it sold plenty well, especially with the SE greatest hits addition.

What?

DMC3 SE is 1 step easier than DMC 3. You just need to refine your button mashing. ;)

Sadist? Not at all. The pleasure you get when you finally get to master the game's combos and get triple Stylish points in Hard mode is something else. ;)

Its a game for skill
