Brief Kaz Yamauchi Article

For the few GT Fans out there that also aren't car nuts and therefore don't browse InsideLine everyday, here's a brief, yet interesting, interview with Kaz Yamauchi, God of Racing Games (TM). Not much actual game information at all, but a little interesting Yamauchi info for his followers.

A few highlights:

He tells me that if it wasn't for visionary companies like Aston Martin and a couple of others who allowed him to use their cars to make that first pilot version, then, who knows? Gran Turismo might never have seen the light of day.

So how did he do in his first race? As expected. Having done more than 2,000 laps of Tsukuba Circuit, Yamauchi only needed a dozen laps of "real-world" driving before he was lapping identical times to me. And I've been circling that same track regularly for five years.
