I am hearing that Suikoden 3, ZOE2, SH3 and Winning Eleven will be coming to the Box. :oops: E3 perhaps?

Nice lineup! :oops: WE7 with Live will ensure Xbox crushes all in Europe and some bit in Japan. o_O

I hope ZOE2 will make full use of Xbox power. Upped the resolution of particles, upped the framerates, upped the textures, upped to 480p and 5.1 explosions! :oops:

Next we will have Square-Enix and SegsaMMy to support the Box! :LOL: That is what big time publishers/developers do. 8) I see the Box having a nice future ahead. :oops: E3 will be exciting.

Yeah, because previous experience with similar engine surely shows how well preserved particles and framerate were. :LOL:

Suikoden 3 - Picked up by IGN according to Gamestop new game list.
ZOE2 - A PC version is coming, might just port to Xbox.
SH3 - According to Edge, it is coming.
WE7 - The producer, "Seabas", said somewhere along the lines of we want to bring WE to as many gamers possible.
MGS3(HOW COULD I FORGOT? :LOL: ) - Rumored to be Xbox "Xclusive", like MGS2:S, by CVnG.

In descending order of most possible:
1) SH3
2) MGS3
3) WE7
4) ZoE2
5) Suikoden 3

Well, I don't think Europe's going to see WE 7 on any system except PS2, look what's happening with WE6:FE on the GCN in Europe. Moreover, some line dropped in an interview is worth nothing, so if WE7 is 3rd on that list, I wouldn't count 4 & 5.

If most of the games do end up on Xbox, woe to PS2 fans. There goes part of your exclusives boasting rights. :p Oh wait! We PS2 fans still ahve the amazing Fafracer2k3! I hope it supports online play! Just the game to cook up some hype for PS2 Online in Korea. Sony needs it. XBL might be the next big thing there.
 
chap, for one thing you need to relax. Who says I have insider info on what Konami is doing? the only way i could get any info on them would be through our company president (ex konami head richard Wnuk) and I'not goign to bother him with questions about that.
 
Better informed? Depends on the subject, since I certainly don't know everything going on in the game industry. I do have an opinion based on many different aspects of the game industry, but in most cases that it, it's an opinion.

I don't know what is going on with konami, and won't pretend too. As I asked you before, If you don't cut out all the fanboish posts I'm not goign to bother to respond to your questions at all.

Also, please don't post any more topics with my name in the title.

Winning Eleven is a Japanese game not released in Europe. PES is the European version.

Yeah PS2, GC and GBA which already have WE6.. I doubt there interested in the 300,000 XBox owners in Japan.

Erm.. Winning Eleven 6:FE isn't out in Europe. I have it ordered for use with my Freeloader though :)

Uh, wasn't that all based on a mistake in an EB games ad for the game, where it listed a PC version forthcoming? Konami was questioned about that recently I recall (unfortunately I can't recall the site), and stated there were no plans to bring ZOE2 to the PC, it was a mistake on EB's part.

Keep in mind, they did release MGS for the PC, Silent Hill 2, and MGS2:Substance is forthcoming as well. Either they are total idiots, or they actually have a business case for it.

Now, those are all adventure/stealth games so they're a better fit, but keep in mind a port costs a fraction of the original game to make - heck, the Mac gets quite a few PC-hit titles eventually, and it's a fraction-of-a-fraction-of-a-shrinking-market. :)

I don't see ZOE2 fitting in with their previous titles, but Konami is obviously not adverse to shoveling some ports into PC territory.
 
Well, as you've said, those other games were at least adventure style games. Still, they all sold like *complete* ass on a PC (you forgot Shadow of Destiny, btw). Releasing a Japanese style mech fighting game on a platform where even their adventure games don't sell jack, and where the gamepad would be an absolute necessity for a decent play? I don't think so. At least, they had some sense not to release the first one.
 
Konami and Microsoft used to have a publishing agreement back in the MGS1 days for helping each other expand into the other's market - console and PC respectively. Who knows what Konami will still do? Also, Silent Hill 2 Xbox certainly didn't sell too shabby for a port.

I guess we'll see, but I wouldn't count out at least a port or two more from Konami for Xbox.
