I'll be tuned in, although one day later when it airs on Canadian networks. Microsoft really needs to be commended on its marketing department for setting this kind of precedent. It's trailblazing, it deftly eclipses anything in the press about Sony's PS3, and it effectively slaps the Xbox 360 label on the next generation of gaming.
 
Can't wait.. we're getting it in Australia a few hours after the US broadcast I think (well, 12 hours or something)

I was thinking maybe E! would have a special "live on the green carpet" with Joan RIvers and her gang. I thought maybe I'll catch that instead to have a better look at all the celebs present at the party. But MTV Breaking News just showed footage from the party with, you guess it, lots of celebs footage and some interview. So yes, I may watch it. God, I could already see what's going down this Thursday. Half of the show would probably focus on celebs, asking them "so, what do you think of the new Xbox?" with "awsome, awsome, awsome" replies.

BTW, is it just me, or I have a feeling Sony may try something evil leading to that event?

NOTE: I'm not joking. They really showed it on MTV Breaking News.

They should just ditch the celebs. I am afraid it'll be a bit painful to watch (as all this kind of shows are, imo. Do they really think I'm so idiot that a paid celeb who's been told what to say could fool me :) ) but it's still a "must see".
 
I don't think most celebs know even what console gaming is about. It doesn't strike me as something they spend a lot of time on (inbetween the mad shopping sprees, the cocktail-swilling and coke-snorting and mingling with other cocktail-swilling, coke-snorting celebs)... It has the chance to get frightfully embarrassing, not to a normal person perhaps who might get impressed/star-struck by a bunch of celebs, but for real actual gamers.

I'll keep an open mind tho. :D Have to watch it in framegrabbed form tho, coz no MTV.
 
I have to work so I am setting the VCR and will watch it when I get home. I am not expecting much but hell it is only a half an hour.
 
We all know how marketing events like this turn out. "It's super awesome! blah blah Live! is super! blah blah super X360! blah blah super games for the next gen HD era! blah blah blah..."

I'll just let other unfortunate ones suffer the PR and then read about the no-nonsense details on forums later. :devilish:

What will the unveiling involve? Gameplay? Just showing the console? Me wants to know!!!

I don't get MTV, but if I did, I would. this is next-gen, I am interested in anything brand new. heck I would even watch it if it was the Phantom!
 
I'll be waitching. Hopefully they'll release a good amount of imformation so real specs can be discussed instead of the rumor of the day.
