are there any intel core duo overclock results? (sorry, i couldnt find any using ggl)
I d like to see some overclock results in order to get a image of how intels 65nm process compares to amd s current technic.
Since amds current line and the centrino/core family perform roughly equal when running the same clockrate, i think that a comparison of the overclock potential will tell me much about how i should value the risk of intel getting ahaed of amd regarding manufacturing process ability
(65nm, 45nm and so on).
a price war and such a manufacturing advantage (even lower costs per unit) seem to be the only risk for amd NOT to get at at least 80% of intels market capitalisation.
and what chances are there, that amd would take up a partnership with ibm and whoever else is researching better manufacturing processes.
If the answers to this questions are positiv for amd, buying theire share should be quite a sure bet in the long run.
