It will not be on ITV (not live anyhow) as it's on Sky Sports. Should be very interesting as it has some very good drivers and all the cars are the same :)

The first A1 race is at the same time as F1, so it won't be live here (the qualify is live). Since the broadcast will be delayed to Monday, I can't watch it :(

Isn't Mikola a Finnish name?
It can be (601 people in Finland currently has that as a surname, so not exactly popular), but Ananda sure isn't.

You might be thinking of Hannu Mikkola (note the spelling), a rally driver from 70's/80's.

Somehow I've got flashback of an Ari-Pekka Mikkola (not Motorsport related though).
Mikola just doesn't sound Indonesian, but who knows :)

He's actually named after the aforementioned rally driver Hannu Mikkola. Apparently his father was given a ride and he was so blown away he named a son after him. :)

Now we got the explanation by MPI, didn't know that. Jarno Trulli is a bit similar story, named after Jarno Saarinen. Incidentally, trulli is also a word in Finnish for little kids wearing a witch costume (in a bit of halloween-style, it's an easter tradition around here). So, that name aroused some amusement when he appeared in F1's.

However, Ari-Pekka Mikkola does not ring a bell. Maybe Ari-Pekka Nikkola, the 90's ski jumper?

I think Ari-Pekka Mikkola was a hockey player maybe? I also remember Air-Pekka Nikkola the ski jumper.

BTW, in Italy "trulli" is the name of rural stone buildings in Puglia.

Looking forward to it. It is on here in 15 minutes (10pm AEST) on Fox Sports. Hopefully it will be good. I like F1 but I'm not into Indycars.
