I still have my Panny FZ1, I love the look, it's just a shame the ugly joypad connector sticks out the front of it.
Need For Speed on the 3DO must be my second most played game ever after PC Doom, really loved it. The weight the cars have was the first time i'd played a racing game where the high speed handling of the cars seem to have some form of connection with reality. Also the routes instead of tacks fro racing on is awesome, such a shame that more racing games don't make use of this, if GT or Forza ever offered routes I would be in heaven.
StarFighter 3000 (revamped Archamedies title) was good fun although IIRC it wasn't very engaging as it was all set in a simulator, or maybe I didn't get far enough?
Return Fire was very good fun 2 player once you got proficent, although in common with most 3DO games framerate could be a problem.
SSF2 Turbo was excellent, just a shame the Pads weren't up to much, although I believe the latter smaller Panny pads were much improved.
Fifa presentation was amazing... at the time, and was reasonably good fun.
Battle Sport was another game which was great fun in 2 player mode, think of it as a 1 on 1 3D basket ball with Wipeout style vehicles.
3D road Rash was great, and was one of the first games to include contempory music tracks, unfortunately these tracks could only be listend to in the menu and not while actually playing, lots of cool tunes though.
Space Hulk was good but tough, a modern day version would be excellent.
PO'ed, everyone seemed to hate this but I absolutely loved it, the sound effects were fantastic, the gatling gun thing in particular, the level design was very diffent to any other game and it was all very wired; naked women aliens with rocket launchers for arms, dead elvis hanging up in the meat locker, frying pan melee weapon. Again if the framerate was better it would have been near perfect IMHO.
