It sounds as though ATI and NVIDIA are of one mind on this issue: 0.11 is ready for mass production, and if so, there is no need to rush into 0.09.

P.S. I'm kidding about the "suddenly". Obviously these decisions were made more than half a year ago; it only seems sudden to ignorant shmucks like myself.

Its sort of like .15u. Its not advertised at all on UMC or TSMCs websites...almost as if it didn't exist.

But the graphics asic vendors have been using it almost exclusively for the past few years.

I doubt there will be a 90nm variant of either R4xx or NV4x. IMO that won't happen until the next-next-generation.
