Indiana Jones and the Great Circle [XBSX|S, PC, XGP]

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 566.45 is based on the latest Game Ready Driver 566.36.
This hotfix officially only addresses the following issues:

[Indiana Jones and the Great Circle] Some users may experience intermittent micro-stuttering [5015165]

Improved stability for UBISoft games using the Snowdrop engine [4914325]

NOTE: May also address issues with some other games that were unstable with R565 (565.xx/566.xx) drivers

game completed. A very good game that I enjoyed most of the time -although I had the handicap of using WASD controls, just to see if I could complete a game using WASD...which I did, but WASD isn't for me-.

Great game, great engine. Highly recommended. Wish it had DX12 support too, Vulkan messes a bit with Windows' native HDR support, which can be a bit flimsy itself.... but is usually solid with DirectX games using Auto HDR or native HDR.

Learnt watching the credits that the actor on which Locus is based -Tony Todd- on died as of recently. Indy's voice actor did a great job, the sound is about the same.

Alessandra Mastronardi as Gina is my favourite characterization of the game. They recreated her expressions very well, much better than anyone else, imho -maybe along with the chinese girl with an eye patch-.

Dunno what to play next, my idea is to complete Stalker 2, but I still gotta learn how to play a Stalker game. So I am still considering other options.

The great thing about Stalker is you get to play it however you want.

Heh. I decide to revisit the Vatican level and ended up exploring my way back to Castel Sant'Angelo bit that proceeded the main area. It was all in daylight and lit as well as the rest of the game, for an area that's pretty pointless to revisit. The power of realtime GI I guess!

38 hours ingame and I completed the game.
it says I am 73% done, but no going to get that to 100%...the main story was what I wanted, not some achievement.

It captures the spirit of the early movies very well, all in all I am pleasently surprised!

Finished this like a week ago. I really enjoyed it.
I think the game is a good example that graphics, setting, writing etc goes a long way. The gameplay is very basic, but the sense of exploration, the setting, being Indy etc is what makes it so fun.
In a way it felt like a modern version of old point and click adventure games. I think they really captured the Indy vibe and humour. Indy is such a charming character.
Almost felt a little sad when it was over.

I've started the game a few days ago and enjoy the atmosphere but the game mechanics are disappointing. That part feels like 10++ year old games to me. Then I read here it's a Machinehead title which made the last Wolfenstein games. All of these games suffered on *aged* game mechanics.

Is it so hard to notice your own weaknesses over the last 10 years and improve there?:)

Yeah, the core gameplay is super simplistic.

Try to view it as an old point and click adventure game but as 3D first person game with awesome graphics and vibe.
