I own PCVR with 4080 and PSVR2, and I can honestly say using quest optimizer(scaler that unlocks GPU/CPU) and running Batman at HD settings this looks like something running on older PCVR. Not sure how they do it. I can't imagine my older 1080 running this without serious problems at these resolutions.
Videos of VR don't really do it justice, but the clarity and detail on materials while running at a high framerate on a mobile SOC is amazing. My wife and I were just marveling at Gotham city last night and the dynamic lightning of Batman's avatar.
Not to mention the game itself is just incredibly good. As an Arkham fan it ranks 2nd best for me. Granted I'm only 75% through it, but even after playing Half Life Alyx and all the VR greats, I'm not distracted at all because "mobile VR." That alone is a testament to where its going. This is a full on AAA game that oozes quality. It does need a couple of patches to address checkpoint hitches and other minor things, but on the whole, its incredible.
A casual VR gamer perspective
Mainstream review(before day 1 patch)
