    That explanation actually makes sense, here in Brazil we have the qualcomm S4 with 4g and the exynos one for 3G only. I think it is one of the few markets where you have both models.

    The results seems aligned with the devices screens resolutions. Given that glbenchmark can't run its offscreen test in those devices, there is not much way of comparing.

    Looking for some architecture characteristics, I would expect the A4 cpu(a arm cortex A8) to be clock for clock comparable with a single xenon core, at least in integer performance.

    The 2.2 update gave the Dalvik the JIT, which in some codes supposedly give 400% boost in performance. The iPhone 4 is to be released next month in my country, so I´m waiting to see if I go with it or with a high end android to replace my old symbian.

    I understood that the render is made at 960x1080, which I think is simpler than rendering at 720p and then software scaling to that resolution (Assuming some resolution independent HUD rendering).

    From what I understood from these is that the game renders at 960x1080 instead of the 1280x720 and not that it renders at 720p, scales somewhat to 960x1080 and then use the hardware scaler.
