It looks like a very nice enhancement to the PSVR1 version. This is one of the best VR games available if you are a fan of the immersive sim genre. Huge missions with non-linear play, many different approaches, and loads of detail. Also great variety in locations since you travel the globe.

I think they will need to launch a substantial game alongside it if they want to draw a large audience to the HMD. There have been some clues that there is a Half Life game in development over there but not necessarily for VR. We'll see.

It seems like Sony is done with PSVR2 and it's just entering the cycle of gradually increasing discounts. There are no first party games on the horizon and it's not clear if they are investing in any 3rd party ports though it seems likely they are making some of them happen such as Hitman 3...

Does RE4 have visual improvements over RE8 VR?

Oops I see Nucleus is already mentioned. :D I had Half Life 2 with Synergy working along with Resident Evil 5 a few months ago. Though to be honest I think I would rather just set up two machines instead of messing with that program.

I still have the CDs. I see they are working on Return to Castle Wolfenstein for PC VR as well. I look forward to playing that too. I haven't messed with Doom3 on PC VR. I have it on PSVR though. It's pretty neat with the Aim controller.

It is an interesting HMD. I've heard of problems with mura and geometric distortion. You will want to wait for production models to be in users' hands though before coming up with any kind of opinion about it. The Crystal and Crystal Light have been a rough ride. Those SMAS speakers attached...

Yeah rogue likes are usually about map/enemy randomization and resetting your character and whatnot. It doesn't do that.
