Hi all. I have a problem with my computer that I’ve recently upgraded.
Before I upgraded, I had NO PROBLEMS.
I upgraded from an Athlon XP system to a A64 socket 939 system. I didn’t upgrade my 9600xt.
I went with an ABIT AV8 mobo, and 3200+. Anyways everything was working fine...
Hi all.
As the thread title implies, I have had no experience with A64's. I only got it last week. I've upgraded from an AthlonXP 2500+, that was able to go up to 2.35GHz on air. So, I want to see what I can pull off with these 90nm CPU's.
Here are the system schpeks.

This upcoming Nforce 4... i have searched around for some info, and all i've found are statements from 'theinquirer'.

Is there any 'real' information about the nforce 4.
Does it have both AGP and PCI-E?

So, you think i should hold on to my Athlon XP for a little bit... and wait for the 3000+/3200+ and this DFI mobo?
What is this DFI mobo anyway? Linkages?
I've got a X800XT, and i don't think my athlon XP can keep up with. So, i want to look into upgrading soon.
I've got 600 Bucks now, and in the next month I’ll have 800 Bucks. (Thanks to a larger than expected Tax Return and my wife giving 'allowing' me to spend it any way I like :) )...
