I guess a question is how the apps are loaded into memory. Does it load the whole app and keep it secure in memory much like on Android or more needed bits of it like with Windows. And with browser a simple browser like Androids default or Opera on mobile easily takes 90-100MB with a few pages...

Why? Even midrange PC GPUs have around 176GB/s throughoutput or more. The CPU doesn't need as much but high-end PCs should have around 27-3xGB/s CPU <-> System RAM. GPU <-> VRAM upwards 300GB/s depending on which graphic card. Btw IIRC the PS4 CPU cant read/write faster than 20GB/s to the PS4 RAM.

Yes and having such games like Crysis 1-3 at highest settings using 3-5k draw calls tells some.
