You're right, Red Matter 2 sort of feels tech demo-ish by comparison.

Batman Quest 3 is a graphical showpiece and a great game

I own PCVR with 4080 and PSVR2, and I can honestly say using quest optimizer(scaler that unlocks GPU/CPU) and running Batman at HD settings this looks like something running on older PCVR. Not sure how they do it. I can't imagine my older 1080 running this without serious problems at these...

    Oculus Meta Quest 3

That batman game is impressive. Apparently it's the first game we've seen as a quest 3 exclusive. It also runs at a native framerate without frame generation tech like Assassins Creed.

    Rift, Vive, and Virtual Reality

Wow, this actually looks fun. Turns your house into a zombie survival arena

Once I start using passthrough for a game it's completely fine. If I start looking around the environment it's not completely clear but easily good enough. I couldn't read my phone at all with Quest 2 and it was black and white, now we have full color and I can read my phone at a full arm's...

    Rift, Vive, and Virtual Reality

Doesn't come out until Dec 15th. Not sure about the passthrough. Mine looks like a 720p video but not incredible. I can read texts on my phone easily. New video

Also this. 60-hour RPG standalone Quest 3 The first game was a high 80s on Metacritic 90fps confirmed based on a neogaf post I saw for the standalone. Reminds me of a PS3 game with better textures. Not really a bad thing if you go into it like it's retro and turns out as good as the first.

I've never played a non open world AC game.

    Rift, Vive, and Virtual Reality

I feel like the buildings look better in the VR version, but the lighting is worse, but yes they're both open-world. Every single preview has mentioned you can attack objectives as you see fit and there are RPG elements too. 15-20 hours long.

    Rift, Vive, and Virtual Reality

It actually is. Your free to complete missions in any order. Being as big as the old AC games is not a definition of open world. This is the definition of an open world:

Pretty amazing for such a small processor. Large world with lots of npcs and 80fps

    Oculus Meta Quest 3

Oh ok, I was reading 3.6 somewhere. And like Quest 2 they're probably unlock more performance as time goes on. They also have spacewarp as an option, which runs at 36fps but it feels like 72fps. Grid Legends does this and felt smooth, but the visuals aren't good. A Quest 3 update would probably...

2.6x power for GPU-dependent games, which most VR games are GPU-dependent anyway. That would put it in the 3.6tf range.

An original Xbox can do Doom 3 at 720p natively with extra RAM

Is there an actual framerate test though? Some pretty crazy cherry picking going on considering the droves of games that got fps AND resolution bumps from ps2 to xbox. And speaking of devs, there was a certain multiplatform dev here that stated no matter what custom work you did for ps2/gc...
