    Apple A14 and A14X SoCs

The benchmark claims it renders at 2560x1440, but regardless, my 12 Pro arrived this morning. Wild Life, normal vs Unlimited: Matches results of some publications. The 12 also seems to be the only device in its class with such a large discrepancy between normal and Unlimited. The others in...

    Apple A14 and A14X SoCs

Early results for A14 and 3DMark Wild Life have been around the net. Scores are slightly lower than A13, but the actual framerate timeline is weird, no? It's unreasonably even, almost like there's a bottleneck somewhere. Driver bug?

    Apple A13 SoC

Not many of the initial batch of reviews gave 3D benchmarks, so I thought I'd run a few to compare to AT's previous A12 iPhone XS results. 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme Unlimited: After a few runs: Peak graphics is 8589, which looks like an especially large year over year jump for iPhones in...

    Nvidia Turing Speculation thread [2018]

Well, I imagine (and hope) that'll be an actual option in games that support that the feature. But otherwise, I think this is a currently being touted as a specific anti-aliasing method. That is, if you were playing at 1080p, DLSS would calculate what all or parts of the image at 4K would look...

    Apple A9 SoC

In Basemark, the Overall score is linearly based off the offscreen fps. Higher is better. The Baseline scores are poorly named and measures the device onscreen scores against itself when some features are de/activated. Baseline scores are sort of meaningless across devices, unless you're a game...

    Apple A8 and A8X

There are some pockets of empty space around the die. If Apple ever tightens the floorplan, there might be just enough room for a 4th CPU core. :D

...you think they'd put alpha scores on the online browser? The 64bit update is already out.

I think it's starting to sound obvious that Denver is still in the middle of a large software tuneup. From Wired: Edit: "only"

    NVIDIA Tegra Architecture

I read other reviews around the web before coming around to that one. It certainly stands out as being the most... effervescent. Edit: Gizmodo, The Verge, and AndroidPolice thought the N9 was mediocre. Engadget was positive but unmoved. In terms of things related to the Tegra, the first 3 sites...
