And that's what MS estimated, that it will take 1 Jaguar core to emulate what the SHAPE sound processor can do. This gives the XBO a CPU edge even if small since you can only count on 7 cores for the PS4 if it's tied doing the audio.
It was rumored that MS had done away with the internal processor and opted to use Xenon instead which would probably tie up one of it's cores. Based on that rumor and the link below I assume that MS had an Internal processor for Natal (Not prime sense) and were having trouble with lag, MS then...
Someone asked this a few pages back and probably only the developer can answer this, but based on the developer's description it sounds like they're using Inferred Lighting...

I just watched the gametrailers video in HD which shows actual gameplay and to me it looks better than RE5, I didn't see the so called blurriness, in fact his jacket looks super crisp and shadows look nice and soft for a change rather than the blocky shadows we usually get.
For hardware tessllation I'm guessing?
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't hardware tessellation allow you to do away with Normal Maps and implement a level of detail directly on the GPU allowing very detailed models with high poligons instead of the low poly used today with normal maps? In...
I think he knows this and it's why he made that statement. I guess the question is are they balancing the resolution and graphics correctly, could they optimize the code so that it runs the way it looks now at 720p or are devs getting away with dropping the res slightly in the last minute crunch?
Seeing that he used the words "At the moment" and "Slightly", is it far fetched to say that since the PS3 is currently where they're focusing their efforts (Cevat Yerli expressed his commitment to bring the PS3 version up to speed) that "At the moment" they're getting slightly more performance...
