What that review only touch upon, is that even with DDR5 5200 you can get excellent gaming performance, as long as you lower the timings. Just check LTT's recent review which shows how little Zen4 cares about bandwidth and how sensitive it is to timings. Compare DDR5 5600 CL28 to DDR5 6400...

I watched parts of it live too and then watched extended highlights. This is a fun track to drive on and produces excellent racing too.

If I maintain 60FPS or lock 30FPS it's fine, just stutters from shader compilation. It FPS drops to 57 or lower, stutter is bad and the worst it is around 37-44FPS. To hit 60FPS I had to lower res to 1600x900 FSR Ultra Quality, but 1920x1080 it's there 95% of time.

I played it on 6800XT with all Ultra and at 1080p it's more than playable, for 1440p it's OK if you set 30FPS limit or use FSR. Not perfect experience, but decent enough or you can lower few settings here and there to get a bit smoother. One thing which I couldn't get rid of is visible shader...

You could look at it as it only has 6 cores sharing 64MB additional cache instead of 8 of them ;)

Yes, Der8auer himself in the video tested his good card and it was perfectly fine no matter how it was mounted. He theoretises either it's something to do with internal structure of the vapochamber or the amount of phase change liquid varies between samples.

I'm not sure if this was bugged in a later patches, as my saves imported from TW2 worked correctly and I met Letho. My saves were imported on PC to the initial launch release game built.

I remember playing it first on the school 486DX33 PC and then on my Amiga 1200, years later when it was ported. Now one of my favourite games of the past 10 years is Doom Eternal, among Witcher series, Mass Effect, CS:GO and SnowRunner. Happy Birthday DOOM!

That I agree and from next gen cards, doing at least few RT titles will be a must for a decent review, even if done quickly to get it out the door. I play games with RT ON on my RX6800XT when possible as I don't need 100+ FPS in most games, so trading frames for visuals is a better option for me.
