Facials and mocap are pretty crazy and running in real time. I don't think there's a studio that uses UE4 better than The Coalition. Jedi Fallen Order looks miles behind for example.

Graphically, this game looks insane. Material rendering and character models are such a big step up from Gears 4.

I see mediocre texture work, flat/dull lighting and an unflattering art style. This game is nowhere near the level of RDR 2, It simply looks average at best.

Not seeing what's so impressive about this game, the art style being so terrible is quite impressive though "a beefed up RDR 2 graphically" RDR 2 looks a generation ahead of this game, other UE4 games like Gears 5 and Batman Arkham Knight also look a generation ahead. It looks like Far Cry 5...

Gears 5 has some great face rendering imho.

Yeah, that 4k video is an OLD build. If you watch the latest gameplays, Old Marcus and Introducing DeeBees. The former has an ugly, grey tint whilst the latter has a saturated blue tint and all the newest gameplays have bushes of grass as the most common foilage and 4k have these strands of...

Of that comparison, the 2015 level looks better (atmosphere and graphics wise). But, the 2016 level has been confirmed to be an old build so it could have changed by now.

The blue tint and killer robots really give this game a Terminator 2 feel, hopefully it's as good as that film. Very excited for October 11th.

It has great looking environments and impressive foilage but I think Gears 4 and Quantum Break have better lighting and effects, plus run far better. Ryse's performance is bad.

I don't think Brumaks will be in here considering all the locust are dead but you could get a mutated Brumak, similar to the one we saw in Gears 2.

What did they do to the muzzle flash on the lancer? It looked great in the E3 demo, looks weird here. Otherwise, looks awesome. The sudden color change at 3:32 is really cool, don't think I've seen anything like rhat before..

I mean, look at Horizon: ZD and the new God of War (one open world, one linear). Horizon looks on par with GOW despite having this huge other world to render. Hell, Forza Horizon 3 looks on par with Gears 4 as well, same thing. Mafia 3 and Watch Dogs 2 look ridiculously beautiful too. Should...
