Don't get a x1800XL with stock cooler - very very noisy when in 3D mode. Good card but just too noisy.

the whole idea that the new formats was going to drive home theatre sales was bogus from the start. I'll get one when the media drops in price too back stuff up. Just not a big enough leap from DVD for the masses - me included

like a hose just pinch the line to vary the flow... I had the same problem at one time though my logitech wirless keyboard with big volume control built onto it solved the problem 4 me.
