If you are having frequent BSOD issues related to your video card with many different drivers it is either the card or Windows most likely. We can't really troubleshoot without the error code from the BSOD. If it is ram related the error codes would be kind of random. Same with processor.

The difference is AMD's Mantle has more developer support than Nvidia's after 1 month vs several years. NV will eventually support Mantle IMO. They would be incredibly stupid not to take advantage of AMD's inroads.

If you are getting bad sectors regularily the HDD is no longer reliable. Transfer data to a new HDD ASAP. Make sure the OS is on a reliable drive. What Drive is windows on?

Isn't huma kind of a qualified derogatory specification of capabilities where the platform must meet ALL of the specifications? If so them PS4/XB1 could be mostly qualified (IE gaining some/most of the benefits) but still unable to use the term?

Games overriding system defaults is usually not recommended in the programming world.

The question is is your system using a lot of cache? Usually how much ram the system uses is completely dependent on the applications loaded. Do you have Superfetch enabled? If not you should enable it for snappier performance. 8GB is still overkill in 2013.

No difference in GPU abilities aside from the PS4 being 50% more powerfull. AMD stated that GCN is capable of DX11.2 and that it would be available via a windows driver update. I'm pretty sure Sony can update it's Unix drivers and tools to feature parity if it's needed.

Steamroller IPC is very close to Thuban and with the new instruction sets, and +1ghz clock speed, and 1 more core, and faster DDR3, it should pull quite ahead of Phenom II X6.

The graphics of BF3 were amazing IMO so whatever BF4 comes up with is just icing. Personally I will only get BF4 if Dice make a spectate mode and decent admin tools to deal with the PC hackers.
