The only thing i wonder about the newest nVIDIA GPU is why it`s highend GPU has a codename from midrange/performance GPU ( in the past GF104/114, G94 etc.).

But any numbers? ;) If you are saying that these numbers are wrong you have to know it will have more/less than these specs :D

A few days ago 3dcenter published some info about Kepler family based on a rumoured specification.

More important is if GK104 will be able to beat HD7970 because predicted performance is about ~10-15% faster than GTX580 so it`s not enough to beat the newest AMD GPU.

Well, we have already know there will be GF106, GF108.. But what about full GF104 aka GTX475 (??) ?

Things are not looking good according to Kyle@Hardocp who has said that we won`t see GT300 in retail in following 4-6 months.

That`s right but there is something about "several times better performance than opponents" so there is very possible that it could give at least 2X better gaming performance than GT200.

Because of delaying, having much bigger and more expensive to produce GPU... NVIDIA won`t be able to sell it`s GPUs on the same price as Rv870 so who will buy more expensive card which isn`t significantly faster than competitors one?

As i`ve heard NVIDIA is going to demo it`s GT300 at thge end of the September (if this rumour is true ofc). As we see new AMD GPU is pretty fast so do you think GT300 would be faster than it? I think NVIDIA needs about 20-30% faster GPU to be successful.

Yes, i know 10k i Vantage is a most probably Rv830 (or Rv840) score but for Rv870 we should get about 15k (if Rv870 is about 2X Rv830 in specs). Then GT300 shoul be about 2X or even more faster in real world situations than GTX285.
