    End of Cell for IBM

Are you willing to lose Backwards Compatibility with all your retail and PSN purchases? Because I'm not. I'm willing to bet that Sony (as well as third parties) aren't willing to rewrite all their Libs/Engines given the effort and research that has been put into making them work with Cell.

    Final Fantasy XIII [PS3, X360]

I agree that there is a 'story', but only a 'plot' of convenience, the whole thing makes no sense whatsoever, the Characters motivations are contrived, hell the whole bloody story is contrived, nothing feels real, it's just random pseudo-story monologues on top of pretty (yet somehow generic)...

    Final Fantasy XIII [PS3, X360]

I found FFXIII to be beyond terrible, at most a 4/10, there is barely a game or story in there, and I can only assume that the people who say they liked it are suffering from some sort of stockholm syndrome. Awful, awful game.

Critical PS3 internal clock error and its aftermath

I have a feeling they will need a firmware solution if you remember the zune bug required you to wait for the battery to lose all power, assuming it's a similar issue you can't do that with a CMOS battery (well....you could...but....)

follow the ylod repair guides, until you can see the battery on the system board, i think it is connected via a wire rather than directly to the board

Critical PS3 internal clock error and its aftermath

From Twitter: Please don't trust info regarding this issue unless from an official Sony source. On Twitter this means @PlayStationEU and @SonyPlayStation. http://twitter.com/PlayStationEU/status/9828231411 Err sony's "official" statements have all blamed PSN so far, I know I can trust myself...

Critical PS3 internal clock error and its aftermath

I posted this on neogaf thought it might be more relevant here: Not enough hard evidence at the moment, most is conjecture or anecdotal. My gut feeling is that it is a hardware problem. my reasoning: If the ps3 date is calculated via an offset i.e. hardware date is 2000 + OS date of...
