I really enjoyed BC1 and didn't like the way DICE went w/ BC2. It felt like they upped the damage and then all the unlocks felt like perks in COD. I prefer the rigid kit choices in BC1 and the bigger more vehicle oriented maps. I'm hoping most of the rush and conquest maps in BF3 will be...

Yea, it does I tested it a little w/ gpu-z and the 8k textures and it was maxed immediately. It runs well w/ the 4k textures on the old 8800gt though. :smile:

I appreciate the input, but the game actually runs very well w/ the settings I posted. I was more curious as to how swaaye got it to run w/ the 8k textures on an 8800gt and I can only get to 4k textures before studders and freezing.

Anyone know why there are so few new levels? I have played through most of the good ones as well as gotten about 80% of everything in the story mode, so I need some new content. Does each user created level have to get approved by sony and/or media molecule before we see it online?

Looks like this will be a rental for me. I don't want to end up with another game that cost me $60 and all it does is piss me off.

Well I assumed it would be repetitive since it is all platforming, but from what you said it sounds like you are very disappointed. I had a similar problem with resistance 2, but I hoped Mirror's Edge would be better. Did you play the demo, and if so was it frustrating for you as well?
