This isn’t an opinion, this is a fact. See: the entire prebuilt market.
IIRC one of the most popular prebuilts on Amazon was running some sort of relabeled Fermi card. In like 2023.
If Nvidia made the 8GB model an Asian-specific SKU for cyber cafes I think nobody would really care. The problem is that’s not what western-focused YouTubers are talking about, they are talking about what this is gonna go in in the American/Western market: a sea of sorta-cheap prebuilts. People...
Yes it does? The resolution of the screen has nothing to do with the resolution of the textures. 4k textures look significantly better, even on 1080p screens.
The overlay is part of a separate app. Many people are reporting stock fan curves not working properly.
I don’t think it will kill GPUs but there have been reports of system instability.
And that skew is made up for by 5 years of population growth.
Valhalla sold well but was also considered pretty bad by fans. It's the benchmark because it's their previous best. You generally want your future games to sell more than your previous games.
VRR suddenly not working well out of nowhere is a bug.
I find it hard to believe Epic would put out a notice telling people that it’s Nvidia’s fault if it was in fact not their fault. This is the same developer that is behind like 90% of modern games through Unreal 5 lol I think they know what...
Well, once upon a time I actually did trust DF on this. There are some outlets I do still trust on this as well.
Interesting, could have sworn I watched many a graphics card review from them!
I disagree
This is why I don't trust essentially anyone in reviewing lol. No integrity whatsoever.
What? Making profit on a video doesn't mean you can't be impartial.
I feel this is relatively inconsequential to the end consumer: if they pay $1000 for a GPU they want VRR to work and they want Fortnite to not crash, regardless if it's one bug causing 99 issues or 99 bugs causing 1 issue.
Do we have any sales data at all? Will we ever? This entire forum is just speculation on things, you know I don't have hard data to support this, it's all just speculation.
