Doesn't SOE have a lot of experience with online gaming infrastructure, since they have Everquest under their belt?

Thats why developers come out with sequels/triquel or new series, because in the end developers/marketers have to give consumers a reason to upgrade.

It looks pretty good, but I wonder how will this game will animate like. I hope the animation is as good as its graphics.

It'll have free onine gaming. Why you ask? Because why would Sony give up something that was already free the first time, outside of those MMORPGs?

His point was that their system, Xbox 360, was not going to be able to do 1080p30/60 via HDMI and that PS3 doing 1080p30/60 via HDMI was not a reality. And you think the average Joe would cares? :roll:

Isn't this the same thing that happens in the IT field? I don't see why this is so bad on Sony's part, since I have heard of this happening before this Sony conference.

He was partially correct, but he's still spinning the fact that 1080p sets that accepts 1080p signal via HDMI were only a year away. He was making it sound like 1080p via HDMI was not a reality. If you mean by, what accept 1080p/60?, then only one set is avaliable atm, HP md5880n. Also...

Aren't these the same guys that predicted a PS2 costing about $400-500, but yet Sony still sold it for $299.99 here in the US? ;)

It was aimed towards the thread and people who were arguing in favor of his statement last summer, which was spun off to how current HDMI signal wasn't able to send a 1080p signal. A thread that went on for more than 5 pages arguing about how HDMI could not support a 1080p signal. But...
