I went to 4 between 1995 & 2000. The LA ones were great. Parties weren't too bad in Atlanta, but didn't hold a candle to LA. They should have made them for the public but understand why they didn't. Good times & great memories.
Actually that's worldwide less the EU. So not just UK. Microsoft has to license the cloud rights in the UK, US, Japan, etc. Other than that yes, just trading one entity for another & not as good for consumers as the EU. Here in the US I will probably only be able access the cloud versions via...
Thank you Jason! It's just what I wanted! LoL š¤£
Supposedly the deal should be finished by 9am Eastern or 2pm UK time. Activision stocked stopped trading at 7:50pm Eastern time last night.
Can't wait for the flood of ABK titles coming to Game Pass. Who knows I might try COD for the first time ever.

Not you, Fehu.
But like iroboto says it's not entirely clear the exact details, but we do know they need to license cloud streaming for ABK titles in the UK, US, Japan & everywhere else not in the EU.
The CMA had a problem with Microsoft having exclusive rights to stream ABK. With this deal...
The UbiSoft cloud streaming deal isn't just for the UK. It's a global deal except in the EU where they already made deals. Those deals will still be in affect. So yes, Microsoft will have to go through UbiSoft for streaming in the US, UK, Japan, etc.
Same. I didn't buy a single game on disc for the Xbox One or Series X. Not surprised they are going digital only. Also, not surprised with the faux rage from the competition. Meh.
This is a global deal but excludes EEA due to existing agreements made for EU. Yes, Microsoft will need to license ABK games for use on xCloud in the US.
