I remember reading a while back about speculation on the various FSAA modes the GeForce FX (then NV30) would have. Two of them were Supersampled FSAA modes. Will nVidia have the good old 3dfx FSAA implemented into the GeForce FX? Thats been on my mind for nearly two years since the aquisition...
Supersampling can be enabled mostly through software with very little support in the hardware. If supersampling is enabled prior to multisample buffer being enabled, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I remember reading back in February that there was a strong chance 4XS AA will be available for OpenGL in later driver revision for GF4 boards. Well, it's later and I don't see it yet. Any reason for that?
