I am not a podcast person, so the only one I listen to - and it hasn't been very frequent lately - is An aside with Joe:
    https://sidepodcast.com/category/an-aside-with-joe

It's the sidepodcast people talking to F1 journalist Joe Saward of joeblogsf1.com and grandprixplus.com

Being a "colonial commoner" (in Kermode and May terms) podcasts is the way I keep up with UK audio entertainment, so my list is fairly extensive, including:
    • Five Live Chequered Flag
    • Kermode and Mayo's film reviews
    • The Bugle
    • Frank Skinner on Absolute Radio
    • Fighting Talk (BBC Five Live)
    • Friday Night Comedy from Radio 4
    • The Infinite Monkey Cage
    • The Empire Podcast

Quartertothree movie podcast (Kelly Wand's weekly plot synopses are an utter delight) http://www.quartertothree.com/fp/category/movie_podcasts/
Gamespot presents The Hotspot (sadly long since gone)
Giant Bombcast (albeit not on a regular basis anymore. 3 hours is just a little too much and I really don't care for the lengthy debates about American junk food)
    Videogamer UK Podcast
Radio 5 Live movie podcast with mark and Simon

Heh, I also don't like the food discussions in the Bombcast, but they aren't that frequent now. I listen to that as well as Player One Podcast, Idle Thumbs, and Gamers with Jobs just about every week. The last two are also good for PC gamers btw

I've listed to some Freakonomics episodes. Some I enjoy are "This week in Tech", Pcper and Stanford has some good business and entrepreneurship lectures.

For PC stuff I like the TechReport podcast but it's only monthly. PCPer is good too and it is weekly.

For gaming related stuff The Crate and Crowbar is my absolute favorite.

I drive a lot in my job and NPR can only get me so far.

They've got a couple of books (the audio versions are great) "Freakonomics" and "Superfreakonomics". Well worth a read/listen if you find you like the podcast content. I find the podcasts ok, but usually nowhere near as interesting as the audiobooks.

My favorite podcast is one called "Legion of Skanks", and if the title wasn't enough to indicate it's NSFW, well...it's not. In fact, it's possibly the filthiest podcast ever made, and to some maybe the most offensive depending on what your position is on the presentation of stand up comedy. It's hosted by some New York City based comedians, and I'm completely enamored with it. I love comedy podcasts, and back in the heyday of satellite radio I was a huge fan of the comedy stations. Just not a fan of paying a subscription fee. I won't bother linking it, although I highly recommend it.

I've also been delving into true crime podcasts, namely one called "Sword and Scale." It's a fascinating, smaller podcast hosted by a guy named Mike Boudet. I love it, however it contains a lot of material, including actual emergency hotline calls, interviews and even audio from court proceedings of some pretty scary cases. Mike is a fantastic storyteller and he sets the tone with an incredible ambiance of great music. It's chilling, at times, but fascinating: http://swordandscale.com/

Here's a small list of some of the other podcasts I listen to (some less than others):

The New York City Crime Report with Pat Dixon (comedy podcast about weird NYC crimes) http://www.comedianpatdixon.com/#!the-new-york-city-crime-report/mainPage
The Last Podcast on the Left (comedy horror/paranormal podcast) http://cavecomedyradio.com/lastpodcastontheleft
Part of the Problem with Dave Smith (A comedy political podcast) https://soundcloud.com/potp-dave-smith
The Monday Morning Podcast with Bill Burr (Bill Burr's comedy podcast) http://www.billburr.com/podcast

I listen regularly to ATP (https://atp.fm/) and the Tech Report podcast (link in the previous post), but I'm on the look out for more.

Wonder if we should resurrect the Beyond3D podcast, which I wasn't involved in but I'm now more keen to do as a semi-regular thing that I'm part of.

I would love to see this. I think it would be worthwhile as each week there is to me at least enough good discussion content (for a podcast) that shows up on these forums.

I was driving that back in the day, but we only got two guys and neither of us that technical either, so we barely got two podcasts done iirc and then the other guy dropped out - that was a long time ago already!

I am always up for a second try though!

I would like to help organize the podcast if it's going to happen. I'm not qualified to talk on the show but I think I can help on the operations side of things
