I found this benchmark interesting and wanted to share this

There's a benchmark at http://xabregamers.free.fr/modules/news/article.php?storyid=34

The Xabre 400 is compared to the Geforce 4 MX460, MX440, Geforce3 Ti 200, etc. and the ATI Radeon 8500 LE.

Nothing extraordinary really, but the results are good for a low end card.

Competition is good and will benefit us all.

*me runs away to hide from angry ati and nvidia loyalists* ;)

EDIT : corrected URL

I corrected the link in my original thread.
Please excuse me for the mistake

*hides as the angry mob runs after him*

The problem i see is that his 8500 number 0f 119, even for an LE is really really LOW.

Perhaps he actually had a LELE version.... It could be release drivers to...

"The Xabre 400 offers performance similar to nVidia's Geforce3 Ti 200 and better than the ATI Radeon 8500 LE, at a lower price."

Hmm if u take a look at the 8500LE vs T4200 review B3D is linking to on the front page the above statement just doesnt really compute. The LE in that review is actually pretty close to the GF4TI4200 and therefore cannot be slower than a GF3Ti200.

Uhh besides, where does he find the price of the Xabre400?

Look again at digit-life page....it's a Radeon 7500.

As a side note, why can't digit-life ever write more than a one-page article?
