They say that in some games R420 is up to 70% faster. looking at some of the screenshots of Farcry it appears to be 1600x1200 with at least 4x FSAA and AF running at 68FPS. I think the AA is actually a bit higher.

as I mentioned over at Rage3d, it would make sense for ATI to opt for +4FSAA since NV40 doesnt seem to fare well in those situations..
Which is pretty bad since these new cards seems to run into CPU bottlenecking relativly easy, and then you want your FSAA to cram your last buck out of the card...
