DX10 is hardly the be-all-and-end-all of Vista.

Well, the rest is hardly anything to brag about currently. Perhaps that's just me though. IE keeps crasching. Frequent "screen goes white (transparent)", computer locks for 10s > n minutes doing something, not sure what it does.

While you have such problems, that doesn't mean most do.
I've been running Vista as my only OS without any big issues almost a year now (started using it as only os in the beta stages), heck, the biggest issues i can rememeber atm is the fact that MSI isn't doing x64 drivers for my USB2 DVB-T stick (ever) and the fact I can't get rxvt console to work under x64 Vista with irssi

nice find, too bad theres no clockspeeds listed. Memory amount over 512mb is really useless right now but if its at 2.0-2.1GHz like the other versions we've seen thats a healthy bump in speed at least.

Yes, any change to the gpu and/or mem speed would be helpful!! Unfortunately, even Sapphire's does not list the 1Gb version yet.

Anyone know of any reviews that are actually decent? Only ones I can find don't even use AA in any combinations, just HQ settings. What the hell is the use of testing between the 2 cards when the core is identical? GDDR4 by itself will only make a tiny difference, with AA I want to see comparisons.

The best review I've seen so far was a user review by n7 @ AT. Only one resolution and one AA setting tested per title, but better than the crap "reviews" elsewhere.

Thanks , but that's pretty useless comparison as well. It needs to be compared to a vanilla 2900XT 512Mb with high resolution and AA settings to see the difference the 1Gb GDDR4 makes in certain circumstances. He also states he was dissapointed that it still didn't compare to his GTX in most cases, why do people think some faster and large amount of RAM will suddenly make the whole card a lot faster?
