I know NOTHING about wireless, I put my set-up in back when wireless was slow/expensive/something that everyone would be using someday but no day soon.....now though it seems like the way to go.
My son's best friend's Mom Cheryl is asking me for help. She ordered a network card for her computer yesterday, but hasn't told me if she was talking about her PC or laptop yet. She also asked me to take a look at this D-Link - DI-514 - 4-Port 11Mbps 802.11b Wireless Cable/DSL Router (Recertified) for $19.99 which I THINK will do what she wants it to do.
They have two PCs and a laptop, she wants them all to be able to get internet access. (Well right now they're just focusing on one PC and the laptop, but I wanna hook up the kids 'puter too.
) I got a plethoria of network cards for PCs, all standard 10/100 rj45s that should work on the hardwired bits, but I'm clueless about wireless.
I have a little Belkin Bluetooth USB adapter, would that work with the DSL/router she's looking at?
