Why text looks like crap on some apps?

Edge, One Note Metro - text looks crap
Chrome - text looks nicer
Firefox - text looks really nice

One note metro is the weirdest. The "Book list" have nice text but the content/paragraph have horrible looking text.

I have tried fiddling the Clear Type setting and it now looks worse :(
 
Windows 10 finally "fixed" DPI scaling in a meaningful way, however in doing so it can either dork up certain apps which predate the new DPI scaling capabilities, or sometimes it can generate a fuzzy appearance for folks with keen eyes.

Check the DPI scaling setting (right click an empty portion of the desktop, click on display settings, and then look at the slider for "Change teh size of text, apps and other items" to make sure it's set to 100% and not something else.
