When will Beyond3D do more reviews?

For example I have yet seen a Crossfire or a 7800 GTX review from Beyond3D.

It's strange but B3D does maybe 1 review every several months.
Is there any chance that more people like SimonF could be added to the staff list to conduct reviews of new products?

Is there any chance of Beyond3D slightly expanding what they review on?
For instance the impact of dual core CPUs on video cards and their drivers.

Thanks.

September - 2 articles: CrossFire and Avivo
August - 2 article: BFG 7800 GT and Theater 550 Pro
July - 1 article: BFG 7800 GTX
June - 2 article: G70 preview and Xenos
May - 2 articles: X800 XL and MX700

Ultimately, I think we do enough for a small team and besides, what are you after - quantity or quality?

When did all this occur?
I've been reading reviews from other sites because I thought B3D reviews stopped comming in after the Reverend fiasco.

Okay - at the risk of sounding like a cantankerous old git, what in God's name are you on about? Look at the reviews and previews section above, and you'll see that we've not stopped working at all. You're either trying to be funny here or just being plain thick, and right at this moment in time, I'm too tired to appreciate either.

Sorry. I just assumed there were no updates because Rev was doing the majority of them in the first place.

And yet again you bifurcate yourself from reality. Dave has clearly been writing the majority of content for B3D since 2002; Reverend wrote what, one or two reviews in the last few years he was a staff member?

What would like to have more are technical articles about 3d features like b3d used to have in the early days.

I said I was sorry that I made a mistake.
I don't know why I make my silly assumptions.

Why does everyone have to get on my ass for making a mistake?
If you think that's bad then you should see some of the blunders I make in real life.

K.I.L.E.R Quick question. Do you view the front page? I'm really not trying to be an "ass" as you put it. I'm just trying to figure out how you managed to miss it. Thats all.

To put the record straight, this is how the numbers pan out:

Articles
Kristof = 14
Wavey = 14
Dave = 4
Marco = 4
Reverend = 3
Readers = 3
Wavey = 14

Reviews
Wavey ~ 63
Reverend = 12
Nick = 9
Marco = 8
Kristof = 2
Andy = 2
Tim = 2
Dave = 1

Previews
Wavey = 21
Nick = 3
Andy = 1

Interviews
Reverend = 11
Wavey = 10
Marco = 3
Richard = 1

If one views the lists by date, rather than author, one can see that Wavey has done the bulk of the B3D reviews for a good number of years now.

I'd like to add that I've seen a lot of reviews by Rev than by Dave.
I've probably seen a handful of reviews from anyone else.

I'm really surprised that Dave's done so many things:
63+4+21+10 = 98

I really don't know how he has the time to do this.
I think I'm going to have to actually browse Beyond3D.

If that's so, then you're either talking about a different website or you're referring to something in the past. Look at the lists - Rev last wrote a review in December 2004 and prior to that, August 2003; it's been different for interviews though where in the same time interval he wrote 5 interviews. Either way though, most of what you have read on B3D for the past few years has been Wavey's materials.

Maybe because you have a, um, killer ass?

And what "Reverend fiasco" you talking about?

BTW, you're an idiot. Dave = B3D ever since he ran the site. Idiot! Idiot!

It's from the Latin bifurcus, or two-pronged fork. Means to split into two (branches). Google can make anyone a smartass :D
