Probabily you got the 697.7 megabyte version, since the 1.607 mega version was released on monday. Anyway, I´m dowloading the 700Mega version at 1kbyte/s, when it´s not below it
. The weird of this is that people upload things of me at 9kbyte/s second. I have a 256k connection. Is that normal ? What should I do to improve it. I am downloading for 24h, and just got 10% of it :?Anyway Democoder, since you are an war equiment specialist, why in the hell the humans didn´t use jets, like predators, against the machine in episode 2 ? They were smashing the humans in those antigravitational carriers ( those great upside down pyramids), and the giant sentines (those weird octopus, that used to open the robots that humans were using, at brute force, smashing everyone inside) ?
BTW, is the animatrix DVD ranaissance, both episodes, the same from the oficial site ? I mean, I read in several places that episode 2 should have 17 minutes, whereas the free one had 9:20 minutes.

As to why they didn't use planes, got me, either lack of imagination of the animators, or some other explaination (lack of fuel/energy after blackening the skys and nuking everything?)

It didn't come in DVD form. I had to take the VCD and convert to DVD myself, manually making chapters. Yes, the VCD already had chapter settings (you could skip to the next episode), but only on disk1.
You can improve bittorrent's speed by forwarding ports 6881-6889 to your computer. Bittorrent is a tit-for-tat system, so you can only download at the rate you can upload. If you do not enable those ports on your NAT/Firewall, no one can connect to you to download, and the only person you can upload to is the person you are downloading from, so you get limited to their speed.
If you open those ports, and if enough people have the parts of the file you need, you can easily get over 100k/s.

On a related note, does anybody know exactly when Final Flight Of The Osiris happened? Between The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded? How long after The Matrix? Do we hear of (or see) the Osiris in Reloaded? ...etc, etc, etc. The same goes for a couple of the other ones... the Second Renaissance series is pretty easily placed, and I understand that the Kid's Story is somewhere between The Matrix and Reloaded (I've heard that the kid's in Reloaded).
