What if Doom/Quake was made today?

    I laughed when I watched them, but nothing is likely to change any time soon.

    If that is what people like then that is what game studios will make. They certainly sell enough copies.

    Yeah but his had doom as well :) It was well done too.

    Serious Sam 3 is the closest to those games you'll find today, and it has one of the best first person shooter campaigns this "gen" (PC really has no generations). One of the very few good ones, actually

    Serious Sam isnt really like Doom or Quake, it's mostly flat, linear and wide with little puzzles. Doom and Quake has level design a lot more complex.
