Fioptics in Cincinnati's lowest tier is $48 for 500 Mbps fiber-to-the-house. Not too shabby.

I picked up Subnautica finally a couple of weeks ago. One of the best survival exploration games I've played. The environments, progression and discovery are just perfect. Really well put together.

Played most of it local streamed to my shield on the big TV. Great stuff.

I guess there's no PC thread for Red Dead 2. I figure out that the game defaults of Ultra Everything was not suitable for my GTX970. Go figure. Setting everything to medium/high made almost tripled my fps for a seemingly minor impact on image quality. It still looks amazing and is much, much easier to play.

PC: Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, and a bit of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, a bit of NBA 2k19 and so on. But mainly Bloodstained.

Thank you Game Pass for introducing me to a game I'd never have played otherwise but now I love.

World of Horror. I love this little indie horror game with 80's inspired graphics. There are even graphical options! You can choose 1-bit or 2-bit graphics! :D

Seriously though, it's a great little gem if you are into Japanese Horror.

    Regards,
    SB

Saints Row 2, realized I hadn't played it since my last upgrade and it's a go to test for me. Can't say it's running exactly smooth, but it's smoother than it's ever been!

Just loaded up GoTR and some updated graphics mods. I know the fixed version is coming out soon, sort of why I wanted to play the old one. Plus I forgot I had it on Steam, I keep forgetting I have a couple of Steam accounts with a couple hundred games on 'em. One for each kid but they were underage when I started the accounts for 'em. My son is "digitalwanderer" and my daughter is "digisan" ROFL

BTW-If you're ever in a shooter against digitalwanderer, either run or hope he's on your side.

So, started Doom Eternal. Lot of funs. The visuals are a let down imo (yeah, I know), but I guess that's needed to have 60fps on consoles. I'm at ultra nightmare everywhere, 1440p (my native 27' res), and I'm lock at 90 fps (because I cap it). My vega fe is not doing much.

I'm playing DOOM (2016) right now. I had it in my backlog but I didn't give it a try. It's very good, amazing visuals and performance. I'll probably get eternal when it's under 30€.

I got Doom Eternal and it fucking rules. First game I've bought at full price in a very long time.

Runs and looks great on my 3770K + GTX970 at High settings 1080p.

Still setting up my games currently on Games 3 F: The Letter W (wolfenstein, watchdogs2, wing commander ect)
To be honest it's annoying the hell out of me I just built a p.c and I want to enjoy it, but instead I have all this house keeping to do.
You may be thinking, creating a shortcut, rebinding the keyboard, setting the graphics options then testing the game (hoping it detected my backed up savegames) is that annoying.
It is when you have nearly 500 games to go through :(

Your going to have to do the same thing only your spreading out the work plus you have a download/instal/uninstall to deal with maybe multiple times if you play a game and then decide a year later you want to play it again.
