Yakuza 2, the remake on PS4Pro. I loved Yakuza 0, like the first remake, and now this... I'm a huge fan, and I've to say it's one of the best looking game I ever saw, I don't know what is the name of the engine used for this remake (I believe it's the same as Yakuza 6), but it's awesome.

Played Overcooked 2 with a bunch of friends on my birthday recently. What a blast we had. Probably the first time I really appreciated the Joycons of the Switch because otherwise we wouldn't have had 4 controllers.

Four half-controllers! I've not played any games with a single joycon (yet!), how was it?

Was perfectly fine. You only need 3 buttons. I also don't think anyone of us was ever using the dash maneuver on purpose anyways, so 2 buttons would have sufficed. It's a great way to enjoy party games with simplistic control schemes. Like Mario Party, or Mario Kart. I wouldn't wanna use the half controllers for anything requiring a bit more complexity, though.

Ace Combat 7. Using the vr version way more than I expected.

Amazing experience in vr. I wonder if they'll add more missions to the vr

Played through AC7 over the last weekend. AC was already getting pretty crazy with the superweapons, but I can't accept the idea of a space elevator in the context of AC's world. Just too farfetched. If the technology existed and the economics were feasible, the countries of Strangereal would not be using 20th century fighter jets, and the designs of aircraft and buildings would be much different. Plus their space elevator isn't exactly on the equator like it should be.

Sorry, Ace Combat, but I can no longer suspend my disbelief!

Really nice to return to the cockpit.

Would love a proper Gundam game with similar experience.

Still rocking Monster Hunter World...the best game ever made! Expansion announced as well. New free content in a couple of days (Witcher 3 collaboration)...this game is such a joy.
(And it got robbed all game awards...stupid game "journalists"!)

I really need to play this thing. MH soulds like it was just about tailor-made for my tastes. Just need to climb that initial hurdle. Supposedly Dragon's Dogma was heavily influenced by it, and as far as I'm concerned DD is just about the best thing in the history of ever.

    Starlink (Switch)
Pretty impressive porting job on Ubisoft's behalf. Lovely looking game. Thanks to another Nintendo cooperation I don't have to live with Ubisoft's painfully lame cast of 1990s-style politically correct Saturday morning cartoon characters either. Instead I can just pick Starfox (who is also lame, but at least he doesn't use the term "dude" all the time). That said, the game is very, very Ubisoft in every way. So goddamned many repetitive tasks that fill up boring progress bars. I also don't really get why I should buy the toys. This isn't a Lego Dimensions type of deal where you need them to access specific content. Seems like you'd simply get more space ships which serve the same functions as the spaceships which are part of the base game.
