Ways to monetize the extra space on DVDs and blu-rays?

We all know that this generation's development costs are higher than previous generation's. Developers/publishers need to find more creative ways to monetize the games they do sell. So, my question is, why don't more game put movie/tv trailers, game demos(from other game publishers), and other upcoming game trailers on these discs. I think it would be a good source of ad revenue.


I haven't thought of it too much, but it seems like there are probably other ways to take use of that extra space.
 
They will likely just have more add placements within games (also throughout disk) and (unfortunately) try to curb the production costs of games. That is the simple answer.
 
They also put all the different languages on a single disc so they only have to test one version instead of several versions.
