Video of id Software's Next Engine Emerges

    Earlier today id Software's technical director John Carmack demonstrated his company's newest engine, <a href="http://www.idsoftware.com/business/idtech5/">id Tech 5</a>, on an unsuspecting crowd at Apple's WWDC conference. After many low resolution photographs of the projection screen having surfaced on the internet, the first videos emerge showing the demonstration in full. <br /><br />Read the full news item

    The damn thing still looks like Doom 3...something's wrong with JC.

    Evidence that games are art

    That is most likely the artists fault/credit. We've gotten to the point where your going to be able to easily recognize a particular artist(s) style regardless of the texture resolutions or the tools they are using.
