video card manufacturer review cooperation

Seeing as there are many representatives of "review" websites frequenting here, I'd be very interested to hear their comparison of how cooperative the various video card manufacturers are when it comes to reviewing their products.

What conditions or limitations were placed on drivers or settings used, what types of tests that could be run, and other special conditions etc...

I was confused by your subject line. I saw "review", thought you meant the verb! I thought "surely they are competitors".

I've never been "asked" to use settings. Now will manufacturers "recommend" settings? Sure. But any limitation or refusal of product because I wouldn't run a test or use only settings? Never.
