    Changes:

    v1.4 (2007/08/17 version)

    All

    o Following specs are changed

    - Update Linux kernel version(2.6.16 -> 2.6.23-rc3)
    Some module names are changed.

    - Remove Fedora Core 6 install script from kboot. If you are a
    normal Linux user who want to use Linux on a PS3, please select
    a Linux distribution which is listed in 'How to Use Linux on a PS3'
    document.

    - If you are a Linux distributor and want to know how to create a Linux
    distribution for PS3, please refer 'How to Enable Your Distro' document.

    Kboot

    o Following specs are changed

    - Update Linux kernel version(2.6.16 -> 2.6.23-rc3)

    - Remove Fedora Core 6 install script

    Linux kernel 2.6.23-rc3

    o New feature

    - Update Linux kernel version(2.6.16 -> 2.6.23-rc3)

    Issue below seen in 2.6.21-rc7 was fixed in this revision.

    - Wireless network did not work
    - Fail to Power off/Reboot.
    - NFS root did not work properly

    If you connect a monitor with HDMI cable, Linux kernel now defaults
    to the best video mode, as advertised by the monitor.

    Some module names are changed.

    Commands

    - Change ps3pf_utils command name as follows. Installed directories are
    changed.

    v1.31 v1.4

    ps3videomode ps3-video-mode
    boot-game-os ps3-boot-game-os
    other-os-flash-util ps3-flash-util

    - Remove find-other-os-flash command because the device name of the
    other os flash area is a fixed device name(=/dev/ps3flash). Please
    modify your scirpt if you use find-other-os-flash command.

    - You do not have to specify the device name of the other os flash area
    with other-os-flash-util command.

    Documents

    - Update Linux kernel version(2.6.16 -> 2.6.23-rc3)
    Some module names are changed. Please refer 'Linux Kernel Overview' document.

    - Add 'How to Use Linux on a PS3' document for a normal Linux user who
    want to use Linux on a PS3.

    - Now 'How to Enable Your Distro' document includes how to create a Linux
    distribution for PS3.

    This is exactly the kind of resource I've been looking for, thanks! I had all the ingredients, just needed to know a good recipe.
