Hmm HL2 for the time being. I hope Splinter Cell 3 brings a lot more innovation to the series.

I want to try STALKER mostly for the RPG elements but I really don't like the mutant element (same thing I disliked about FarCry).

I'll be looking forward to Quake 4 but is anyone expecting this one in 2005? I'm not. Not unless they show screenshots at E3, and have it running at QuakeCon and then they just might make it in time for xmas.

I was looking forward to Fallout 3 <cries> but now I'm waiting for more info on Baldur's Gate 3. I might check out Neverwinter Nights 2 but if it has the same lame 2.5D engine I'll pass. Obsidian shows great promise but I'm really tired of 3D games with the functionality of 2D engines -- they might as well go 2D and have beautiful prerendered backdrops.

Sorry for sounding dumb, what is Quake 4 going to be? Primarily a single-player experience like the first two, or multiplayer only like Q3:Arena ?

Oh my god i was gonna say texactly the same thing!!! Playing my Ps2 after having enjoyed Doom3 on High quality or even Farcry at highest settings will be an eyesore, but Kingdom Hearts 2 will surely provide me with much more of everything than Farcry or D3 ever will.

    Re: FPS's and RPG's

    Me too.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Not for the main quest perhaps but to be able to quickly add sub quests. And then have more time for the main stuff.

While I wouldn't say I'm jonesin for it, the new Call of Duty expansion does look pretty nice. I'm feeling pretty compelled to pick it up when it hits the stores in a couple of weeks. :)

Because you fall 'arse over tit' landing on your back with your 'tits up'.

Dick isn't (originally) an (British) English swear word. We still serve 'spotted dick' and its still a common name for the over 50's (Richard or Dicky Attenborough being a famous example).
