Does anyone know which version of the Unreal engine pariah is using? Is it the current UT2004 incarnation or a modified version?

"Pariah is using a heavily modified version of the Unreal Championship engine. It incorporates some of the latest releases from the updated Unreal Engine 2.5 that Epic is producing. We pick and choose the useful components we like and integrate them into our code base."

That's what one of the devs said on the forum. Keep in mind it's an xbox/PC game. Hope it doesn't end up like DX:IW.

So is quake4 supposed to start at the end of Q2 or be a rehash? I hope it is at the end... You know when he pops his hand out of the escape pod.

Anyway I am pretty excited about HL2, I suppose :)

    I want to play
    HL2
    Stalker
    Quake4

and then to be determined after the games are released.

Not much I'm looking forward to at the moment:

    WH4K: Dawn of War
    Battle for Middle Earth
HL2 - for the tech only, FPSs are boring.
The UE3 game, again for the tech (though that won't be out soon)

I've been in love with the RTS genre since Dune2 (which was the reason for buying my first PC) so that's obviously the games I'm looking forward to the most. I like a good hack n slash RPG like Diablo too but I don't know of anything like that thats upcoming.

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (aka Galaxy Andromeda aka Imperium Galactica 3 aka Beyond)
Rome: Total War (especially once the history buffs are done with the realism mod)

    Coming relatively soon:
    HL 2 (of course)
    Vampire: Bloodlines
    The Sims 2
    Stalker

    On the radar:

    Neverwinter Nights 2
Based on D&D 3.5, it's being made by Obisidian and produced by Feargus Urquhart of Fallout fame. The plan is to keep nwn's main components of single/multiplayer client, dungeon master, and toolset. They're ripping the guts out of Aurora engine and updating it to dx 9 with lots of HLSL. They're looking into toolset wizards to help speed module building. (ie a wizard which asks for 20 or so parameters and automagically builds an area to adventure in. But I'm skeptical of anyone being able to pull off something that complex.) Anyways, the game is due in 2006.

    Dragon Age
Bioware's next big RPG. Bioware's going all out on creating a brand new setting: among other things, they're writing 5000 years of history and cunning linguists are creating languages. It'll support both single and multiplayer and ship with a toolset for building custom adventures. I haven't heard much about the graphics engine other then they want to animate realtime battles with hundreds of participants. Not even a hint of a release date, but probably 2006-7.

    The Elder Scrolls 4 and
    Fallout 3
I don't know much about these other then they're being built. :p

eeee! Grim Fandango is one of my all time favorites!
I can't see how they would pull off a sequel though, unless with a different cast (which is cool too).

GFX style was so friggin' phantastic. I love that kind of crazy cartoony stuff, that's why I also love MDK and MDK2. It's a shame they're not making another one

.......... London-boy innocently wonders around the boards, making up for lack of information in the last 2-3 weeks, by reading new informative threads and not-posting too much and look what he stumbles upon....... :D
