Unreal Engine 5 Tech Demo, [UE5 Developer Availability 2022-04-05]

Funny they called the city megacity like the Unity demo.

 

That Titanic demo uses Unreal Engine 4, I believe.

 

it's been updated with lumen, but not naninte sadly

 

I dont know, at no stage there with that titanic thing did I go this could be real, like with that matrix demo sometimes you have to study for a couple of seconds, and eg the new GT game.
They've obviously put a lot of work into it but I dont know what it is? The lighting I assume

Looks better then any game so far….. just that its a tech demo. I hope were not far away anymore from ’true next gen gfx’ like UE can deliver in tech demos.

 

What are the weird bright artefacts very visible between 10:07 and 10:15?

 

Looks like a combination of fast traversal (or rapid camera moment) that's not allowing the scene enough time to render everything in quick enough. There is also some camera clipping as well.

 

Can't wait for this!

The title is not catchy. But at least it's easy to spell and write. Unlike the space zombie anachronism (spelling?)

Btw that thing looks like battlefront. Hopefully they nailed the gunplay. If it plays like destiny/halo with the look of battlefront, it'll be a blast to play.

My bad i believed what was said in diverse videos but now i'm not even sure if they already switched to UE5 yet, that was their plan last year though

 

Wonder how many times the other UE5 tech demo were downloaded for a total picture.
