UAVs outside pixel/compute on Kepler/Maxwell1?

    As we know DirectX feature level 11_1 allows UAVs in all shader stages, but nvidia does not support 11_1 before maxwell2, but claims that the particular feature is supported from kepler and that it may be enabled on a per application basis.

    Since I'm currently playing around with such, it would be nice if it could also run on my laptop, so I wonder if there is a way to enable the feature?
    I've been going through the nvapi reference with no luck (most obvious way would be the alternative device creation functions), and it's not mentioned among these vendor hacks either.

    I believe they expose it in opengl. I guess they didn't care enough to add it to nvapi.
