So how about Rys giving you mods increased privileges to ban and delete topics? It would seem prudent, with this incident in mind. There's literally been so many spam threads posted that they flushed almost all other conversations off the "new posts" list (and that thing archives ten pages back into the past.) That's really beyond obnoxious.

Did the spam protection system you guys use break down completely, or what happened?

Btw, the ferocious spamming is still going strong, there's new threads posted constantly. I've never seen anything like it. I'd shut down the forum completely if I were you guys until the issue can be resolved, because...holy fucking hell!

We used to have a special "Ban & Deletes all posts" button in the old forums, it would be most welcome today.

It exist, but someone configured the General and RSPC Forums as no or limited moderation so only Admin like Rys or Alex can unfuck those sections.
